Microwave Cooking

Shopping for good quality food is only the first step. How we cook our food also matters. We all need to save time and live in our busy world. But, we do not want to make choices at the expense of our environment and our health.

Getting back to the old days of eating foods in their most natural form is really the best way to eat. Unprocessed food that is not cooked in a way that all the healthiness is cooked out of it-or worse that toxicity is created by it.

Children often have access to microwave cooking at school so be sure to educate your children on this subject!

If you didn't quite buy into the microwave issue before, this will give you some food for thought:

I still don't know how to avoid this at work? I make my food on the stove or in the oven when at home, but at work I have to reheat in the microwave. Is it better just to choke it down cold, and do you then have to worry about bacteria? I never know what to do. I crave cold foods, so that's not the issue, but increases my pain, so try to stick to eating warm food. Any ideas to manage around this other than just skipping lunch altogether? Thanks!

You could buy a thermo food jar which keeps your food hot for a while.
