I posted on this a couple of years ago--evidently olive oil isnt always what you think it is. Sometimes it is cut with other oils. So, if you find you are reacting to your olive oil, then change brands. I am unsure if organic is better. I just dont know. Here is an article discussing the issue:
I was thinking, if everyone wrote in which brands they are using, it may be helpful.

I try to find what is on
I try to find what is on sale, but normally it's Filippo Berio, Colavita, Bertolli or DaVinci. I like the "light" tasting ones generally. Despite the label on front saying Pure Olive Oil (vs. extra virgin), most of them are always a mix of olive oil AND extra virgin if you read the tiny ingredient label on the back. This has been very frustrating to me, but nearly impossible to find 100% pure NON extra virgin. I did just find a new brand yesterday at my local store that is JUST olive oil (not mixed with EVOO). I am going to try it and see. I think it's Food Club brand?? Sounds very cheap and suspect to me. I cringe at putting these cheap, non-imported, oils in my body but I am doing my best at sticking with it!
I buy target brand. I think
I buy target brand. I think it is only plain olive oil
I was using Bertolli extra
I was using Bertolli extra light olive oil, but noticed it also had extra virgin added in, so switched to Crisco light tasting olive oil. After doing some further reading anything that says refined olive oil contains a mixture of olive oil and extra virgin. It is very hard to find just plain olive oil. Not sure what the best option is? I guess time to keep searching for better quality olive oil.
