Pregnancy, Giving Birth and IC

This last year seems like it has been a been a whirl wind of pregnancies and now births. This is the second best part of this work-the first being when a person is able to get their lives back in order and re-find themselves and move on with all of the things they want to do. When someone tells me they can dreturn to their job, or just do their job so much better, or that they can resume a normal intimate life again with their spouse, or go back to exercising-those are all huge victories. The icing on the cake is when they can go to a restaurant and not be neurotic about what they are ordering, or something simple that most people take for granted like being able to go to a friend's house for dinner and not having to ask ahead of time what is on the menu.

The second is definitely this-creating and giving birth to a beautiful new being. And, how great is it that after going through something like this you have a knowledge of health and life that didn't exist before giving so much more impact on parenting decisions.

I have heard from two of these women and their babies are fantastic and the births went really well. Waiting on the others and in the next months there are more to come.

I am wondering if there is hope in having an enjoyable pregnancy after completing treatment with the Brizmans? Are there people out there that have had a pleasant pregnancy without IC symptoms driving you crazy? Thanks!
