Raw Milk

There is so much controversy over raw dairy. It is so difficult to believe in 2013, there are people crossing state lines hiding their raw milk in the trunk of their cars while holding their breath not to be stopped by police just to get something that they feel is healthy for them. Many people having suffered from chronic illness have found their way out of it with the inclusion of raw dairy. Others simply drink it because it makes them feel healthier. I myself often incorporate raw milk into my patient protocols for people as they get well, finding it invaluable in both my practice as well as my personal life.

When Whole Foods suddenly and without warning took raw milk from it's shelves deciding to distance itself from the raw controversy, I stopped shopping there. I was in disbelief that an establishment based on delivering healthy foods to those who desire it turned their backs on the very people they serve. It is so

Finally enough is enough. Organic Pastures is suing the FDA! I am actually very happy to hear this. I am happy they are standing up for themselves (they have been repeatedly attacked by the FDA) for what, in my opinion, is right. We should be able to decide what we want to feed ourselves and our families and not be inhibited to do so by law.

That is great news! I could get used to the convince of having raw milk in the grocery store, minus the sticker shock and not having the cows greet me each week!:) Glad they are taking a stand against the FDA to allow individuals the opportunity to purchase something that can be so beneficial to their health!

Matia,
Is raw milk safe to take when you have h pylori? I've read contradictory reports saying it is likely to get h pylori from raw milk....

thanks!!

I think this is an example of the ignorance of some regarding the matter of raw milk. I do not agree with this statement at all and I would not use the presence or absence of this finding as a way to determine if raw milk is appropraitate but rather an entirely different set of symptoms that I go through with my patients.
