Raw Milk Survery

I would love it if people could comment on their experiences with Raw milk. We go through 4 gallons per week in my family (4 of us) and sometimes that isn't enough. If I run out and give my daughters pasteurized organic milk in place of the raw, they refuse it-interesting.

I would love to have people share their experiences for those who may be on the fence and are afraid to open that gate!

I can't always get raw milk in the winter so my family sometimes uses organic pasteurized. My son will not drink "regular" non organic. They totally prefer raw and I feel so good giving it to them.

I didn't think we were allowed to have raw milk? When I try dairy again should I get getting raw? I always used to get organic.

I loved raw milk when I was on it. I hated milk growing up. It was a long drawn out fight every night at the dinner table, I would plug my nose to get it down just so I could leave the table each night. It's strange because nothing else was a fight, just milk, and still could not stand the taste as I got older. I was apprehensive at first, but raw milk is so different, I always looked forward to my protocol to have the milk and miss that I can't have it!

Unfortunately raw milk is difficult to get here in Ireland. In the past I have been able to get it sometimes at a cookery school / farm, if they are not making cheese that week!

when I was doing well it did not cause any problems for me!

i love the taste and think I will be able to add it back in soon, it's a great feeling to drink something 'natural' with all the benefits included.

I get it for my grandchildren, they are 18 months and 4 years old.  They seem to be fine on it.  In the UK there are several suppliers.  If you are lucky enough to live near one you can have it delivered free every couple of days but most of us have to do mail order which is quite expensive.  The rest of my family are dairy free otherwise they would all have it.
