This is a nice article connecting the gastrointestinal tract with heart disease. I have many people who have over the years had heart issues. Most of them have undiagnosable heart problems-typically feelings in the heart but, there is nothing actually wrong. Some have diagnosis. In Chinese medicine, we look at all of the organ sysems and how the interact and effect one another. Bladder problems may often be accompanied by heart issues. This is one reason why I thought this article was interesting. It is a little short, but, it is sweet: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/donna-gates/probiotics-_b_1543045.html

At some point can we eat fermented foods, and if so what would you recommend we try?

Can be put in, but much much later in treatment. Earlier will cause huge problems.

Donna Gates the woman who wrote that article wrote a book "The Body Ecoolgy Diet". It is a good read for anyone interested. :)
