Skincare and Haircare Products For You And Your Family

I know this is a message that is redundant, but, I need to say it again once more bc it is so important!

There are numerous instances, and I had another one today where someone is undergoing treatment and disrupting its effectiveness by using various kinds of skin care or hair care products not realizing that they are having an adverse effect.

Today's situation was owing to cuticle oil, which contained as the first ingredient soybean oil. IT seems benign to put just a bit of oil of your cuticles and one might not connect that that could possibly have an adverse effect on one's internal health. But, honestly, if you place one dot of certain substances that are antagonists on the tip of your nose, that could affect you with pain almost immediately.

Soy oil and vitamin E and coconut are all substances that are in many of these products and often are marketed with different names- vitamin E is tocopherol and soy substances often have "one" at the end of it-such as dimethacone, etc... These products can cause a lot of imbalance in the body and one should stay away from them.

Matia, this may be redundant for you and some others here, but it's very helpful for those of us who haven't seen a post like this yet!! I had no idea soy stuff ended in -one!  Thank you for sharing this.  I'm usually not affected as much (with pain anyway) by beauty products and I don't use many anyway, but I will certainly be mindful of this in the future when I make a purchase.

Matia;Wikepedia says that Dimethicone is a shortened version of Dimethyl Silicone.  I did some other internet searches and can't find any reference to soy as part of the Dimethyl Silicone.  That is not to say they don't use soy in the process somewhere.  I can't find anything on the internet to explain where or how.  Can you explain it to us?Regardless, it seems weird to use basically the same thing as a moisturizer that we use to caulk our windows.  What are some safe lotions to use?  I know you have one available but with the shipping it is pretty much unafforable.  Are there other safe ones out there? Thanks for pointing this out.

I will go back and post my research-this is a big problem and is important.

Matia,
would you mind putting a post together about coconut. I understand the issues
with soy but not sure why coconut oil is so important to avoid.
Thank you :)
