Supplements

I know I have said this in a lot of posts, in a lot of ways, but, I thought I would throw an extra blog in again around the same subject. It is a HUGE cliche-we are all individual. But, WE ARE!

Someone said to me the other day, she wanted to add in certain supplements that other women on the site are using and doing well with. I said, "but, these supplements are not indicated for your situation", and the conversation kind of went round and round. In the end, I THIINK I communicated how different people really are and how their situations are different from their consitutions to the things that led to their illnesses to how their symptoms are presenting.

It is so difficult to understand how symptoms can be very similar, but what is indicated to treat them can be very different. Again-I HIGHLY recommend The Web That HAs No Weaver to understand why this is-by Ted Kaptchuck. It is a great book and delineates the precise concept. It was my first book on Chinese medicine and the one that made me fall in love with the medicine. I think with these concepts you kind of get or or you don't staright off the bat. The concepts are certainly foreighn and may take time for some to digest completely.

I think the thing that is so important to understand is some of you may never ever take the same things at all while having very similar symptoms, while others of you may have different symptoms and take the same things! I know, I know, hard to understand, but TRUE.

So, please dont be taken a back if you think I am not giving you what you need or if you think you are missing out on something. It is likely you are not!

Hang in there-none of this is easy, I know.
