Teeth

...are very often a problem, in that they are a route in which people may detox when trying to get well from being chronically unwell. So, tooth pain or gum pain can come up frequently (somtimes not at all) in treatment.

Often herbs may be used to allow the bacterial and toxins to clear without a person having to get dental intervention or at least enabling the person to be able to avoid serious dental procedures. However, sometimes more intervention is needed.

People often ask me should they get a root canal, shouldnt they get a root canal. From my understanding from the holistic dentist I see is that root canals are often done unneccessarily--when they could have been avoided. I am waiting for his comment on this article, because the article itself is a bit frightening. I want to say that ahead of time because nothing is absolute. So, I dont want you thinking that if this article applies to you that something bad is going to happen. Those bad things are balanced out by all of the good things you do to take care of yourself and may often be diverted.

However, if you are at a dental crossroads now and need to make a decision, this may be food for thought. When I get the dental professional commentary on this article, I will post it-part II to this. Anyway, here is the article itself: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/02/18/dangers-of...

I had read that article last week, and it did sort of freak me out, but most of what Dr. Mercola says freaks me out! I love his pasion about things but geez, we should all be dead according to him! I had one root canal about 15 years ago and I hope it was done correctly and I have no lingering bacteria left from that!
