In the past when my kids have had their teeth cleaned, they advise a floride treatment. Can anyone give me their opinion on this???

I DO NOT do this. We used to because I really wasn't sure. I don't think it helps and I think it is harmful

Flouride is poison. It is a fallacy that it's necessary. This is a pretty good article...

Glad you asked. AGREE!!!!! AVOID IT!!!!!! Sometime when you have some free time (like 3 hours of it, LOL!!) do some reading on natural dentistry (maybe you already have!) Boy is it depressing. Some believe it is the root cause of many modern illnesses. Sigh. I got sick right after my dental implant (with antibiotics, of course). I am very concerned about getting the right dental treatment for my family going forward. As you know Westin A Price was a leader in this field and did a ton of research on this and diet.

If we don't excel at health, the only other option is disease.

Hey Ladies,
At my last dental appointment I spoke to my dentist about my treatment and told him that I did not want him using flouride. He completely understood and he was able to use an alternative that did not have it.  It was a little grainy almost like sand.  I'm glad he was able to help me out.

NO flouride.  I just got back from taking my 6 year old this afternoon to his dentist and I told them no.  The hygenist asked him which flavor flouride he wanted after I told the front desk no, and I reiterate NO flouride.  I havent read why but Dr B has always said its not good.  Thankfully, he has no cavaties!  That's good enough for me.
