I just wanted to remind everyone, which I probably do redundantly, that being careful with every food you put in your mouth is very important as you go through this until such time that your bladder is reacting so minimally it longer is critical.

Someone sent me a link on an article regarding the impact of energy on water by researcher Dr. Emoto. I realized he is the same researcher involved in a documentary I posted on ICAMA 3 years ago. But, the link is not working anymore. I am going to try and find it and repost it because it was truly stunning. Anyway, I found this very short pice and also the article below sent by a patient the other day.

I just saw this this am, and it sounds great. For those with IC, I would spray this on clothes, not your skin though:

This quote came at the end of a reply to one of my posts and I have to say, I was so moved by it. Although I am in awe of the Dalai Lama, I am unfamiliar with this saying, and I loved it so much, I wanted to post it here to make sure everyone sees it, as it is so completely true and applies to our happiness as well as our struggles:

I do not read the forum as most of you know to allow everyone privacy. However, sometimes people brings subjects to my attention, and, there was evidently a post regarding my recommendations on make-up. This is a great subject. My recommendations are based on different issues. First, they are based on pain, second they are based on health, and between those two, finacnes are also a consideration. When it comes to products and food not everyone can afford the same things.

It has been a long while since I have posted on this blog-my apologies. A lot of time in the last few months have been spent trying to focus on how I can spread the work that I have created over the last decade an a half so that it can help more people. When I embarked upon this path, I did so because after years of education in Chinese medicine, I quickly realized that the beautiful and profound medicine I had been trained in required a mergence with modern medicine in order to understand the complicated condition of IC and some other chronic disorders we see today.

Cancer really is not the topic of conversation on this site, but, I thought this was a really cool site on the subject in terms of detection. It is incredible really. Please read this if you get a chance: http://www.dogsdetectcancer.org   Dr.M

I cannot even begin to say how much of this article I agree with and how wonderful it is. At last the world of research is really coming around to acknowledge the role that our gut bacteria really play in our health and that it is the route of chronic disease and the inflammation driving these many conditions. Sound familiar:) I LOVE LOVE LOVE this article.  Thank you to the many of you who sent it to me.

Here are two links to the same article in different publications regarding chronic back pain having been cured by antibiotics. No, I have not started to advocate antibiotics, but, it is interesting in that this research does show how chronic pain, at least this type can be caused by lowgrade infection. The way in which they describe the infection is not exact;ly the same route that I would use to describe it either. However, th point is, when the body is given a means through which to reduce its bacterial overload, pain will be reduced.
