Saturday the 3rd at 4:00 will be the next meeting. Dial into your computers to the same number I gave last month. I am going to try and do it that way this time and let's hope the connection is better. Please comment on what you would like to discuss and I will try and provide time
for as many subjects as possible within the two hour period.

Someone asked me today to briefly discuss why antibiotics are not a good idea. OK, this
is a long and involved subject. And, in my book, it is all explained. But, briefly, it has
been my experience that antibiotics actually exacerbate the underlying cause of any
bacterial issues present in chronic illnesses. Antibiotics are, in fact, one of the major
contributing factors of IC and other chronic illnesses in my humble opinion. So, when
one is taking antibiotics to mend a situation in which a bacterial imbalance has been

Hopefully whatever holiday you are celebrating, you are with loved ones, and are warm,
and having a beautiful time. Things are quiet now, as probably they should be at this
time of year. No matter what you celebrate, I think it is a time for reflection and
contemplation of what has transpired in the past year and what will develop in the
new one. Change is optimistic and full with hope. I wish each of you health and happiness
in the coming days, months, and years. And, I am thinking of each of you during the time

Someone did not see this comment on the posting regarding dangerous skincare products as the reason for the development of BOMASENSE for IC patients and others, Angela sent this great article on toxins in skincare products: http://www.safecosmetics.org/docUploads/NotTooPretty_r51.pdf

There was an article posted regarding an actor's bad experience with his health. By his doctor it was linked to overconsumtpion of fish and Chinese medicine. I will not comment on this diagnosis because I do not have the right to do so nor do I have all of the facts. However, should this diagnosis be correct, this does not mean that all Chinese medicine is contaminated. And, if compared to western medications, well. we should probably not go there.

Friends often ask me why I don't do more testing on my own body to monitor things such as precancerous conditions. My feelings on this are very controversial to most, I am certain. But, I do feel that health is based upon homeodynamics. It is always changing. And, many of us ertainy have cancerous cells growing in our bodies in a given period and then at another point those cells have disappeared. This seems it would be true as long as a person is focused upon monitoring his or her health, eating in a well balanced way and lving a happy lifestyle.

I was speaking to someone today who said she realizes how much her personality has changed since she has been burdened with her illness. Whereas she used to be outgoing and up, she had becme withdrawn and down. As she is getting better she is starting to remember who she used to be and has become determined to bring that old self back to life! In fact, she is coming back to life because that is what made her remember! It is a good reminder to me and to all of you who have latered your way of being due to illness. Try to find your way back to yourself as you improve. You are in there!

I just wanted to post a note to make sure everyone knows that I do not read the foum discussions. Someone asked me if I had seen a post that looked like it was directed towards me, but, I did not bc I dont read them. I want to allow privacy for others to discuss freely. I have my technical person who checks for appropriatness only, i.e vulgarity, etc... So, I am sorry if anyone posted and was waiting for a response from me. I do answer any comments to my posts however, so feel free to respond to me there!

Sugar causes many problems in the body because of the underlying imbalances that it creates. Those imbalances lead to inflammation all over the body. That inflammation leads to many kinds of chronic illnesses. A high sugar diet coupled with other kinds of things such as overuse of various kinds of medications and other dietary practices is a great recipe for disease including IC. Why are we seeing so much more chronic illnees these days? Because of all of these things that we think of, as a society, as common place and benign.
