When one chronic illness strikes, one becomes conditioned to fear. I have noticed this consistently over time in treating patients with IC.

The body and mind are, in my opinion, a two way street. I have shared many times, my opinion on that topic. Whereas, in the psych profession, it seems that there is such a focus on the mind effecting the body, I would argue that the body also effects the mind.

In Chinese medical literature, this point is consistently made and there are organ imbalances correlated with different types of emotional presentations.

It is very interesting now to see researchers correlating the gut with changes in emotion. I am certain there will be lots more to come on this subject.

Old Post:

The pharmacy list I gave several posts ago are general and for many different types of infections-viral or bacterial. However, added to that list-just in case, would be dianthus formula and chuan xin lian.

I often get asked, "what is my imbalance? Am I fighting yeast or bacteria?"

I was having a discussion with someone today and realized that perhpas I do not always communicate what the process really IS.

It is VERY different for many people of course, because we are individuals. So, it can be very time consuming for some, while for others may seem very free flowing. It is so frustrating, even for me that it is not always free flowing. However, as the saying goes, it is what it is. I do my best to try and work with the body and support it through its process and not push too hard so it can do what it needs to.
