Are we to avoid catheters at all cost? And can anyone shed any light on the reasons why? I know that there is risk of infection but other than that i'm not sure. Thanks in advance.
Hi I really need some advice. I have been in treatment for about a month. I have continued on my medications ( Flomax, Baclofen, Oxibutynin & Amitriptyline .) I would like to start weaning my self off. I really have been taking everything since the end of April so not a long time. Can anyone offer any advice. I know Matia says she can't advice because she isn't a medical Dr. But most Drs don't know how to do it either. Is this going to be another layer of suffering because I am definitely not stable at the moment. I started the herbs & my pain has increased.
I'm in month 3 of treatment and while I have noticed dramatic improvements with my bladder, my energy levels are low and I generally feel crappy.
I get tired after a few hours of shopping and I dread birthdays and special events because I feel it requires such a huge amount of energy - I really don't like leaving my house for long periods of time. I basically feel like 'taking it easy', and resting, every single day. I have a general 'weak' feeling and my muscles get sore quickly even when holding my tiny dog for a minute or two..
I have only been doing the diet for a little over a month & the herbs about 10 days. What Dr B gave me initially gave me a lot of pain....she eliminated one item but that did not work so she changed to 1mega & 1 Siberian Eleurthro 3x a day. I've only taken 4 doses & the pain has gone down a touch but I have a lot of left sided flank and lower back pain. She said to give it a few days. I felt better doing just the diet!!!! My question is how long do you wait before you now something isn't working. Is die off pain or is something not right.
ok am reading all the posts here and was wondering if anyone has just urgency and frequency as their main symptoms ( with burning/stabbing pains in urethra as well but not all the time) Ive not had much actual pelvic pain, and am wondering if anyone has seen improvements in frequency/urgency with the treatment. I have been on list one for five weeks and have seen a slight improvement- namely the urethra burning- but havent seen much change in the symptoms i really need to get rid of! soo frustrating even as i know i havent started the herbs yet and they will make a huge difference.
I was doing really good for a long time. No more pelvic pain and pressure. Then I started feeling more itching. One day recently, I had been feeling so good for a while, that I actually could stop concentrating on my symptoms. My pelvic floor dysfunction had pretty much gone away. I could pee normally. And I worked outside in my yard and was just enjoying the day and being active, not thinking about food constantly, not depressed. The next day, I had a flare.
I just called WF to order a new case of bread and they told me that pacific bakery is out of business. I am going out of country soon for 2 weeks, and was really counting on bringing my own bread since i won't have such options overseas. Could you please share what other options we have? I am ok with spelt and kamut.
