I am doing limited physical therapy for my rotator cuff tear. I tried several other things that Dr. Brizman ok'd but ofcourse I flared from everything. The PT is the least problematic - again it is very limited. I tried just straight acupuncture and flared. I am going to try it again with Dr B's approval (on Friday) trying everything to avoid the cortisone injection.
i am gearing up to see the brizmans this fall. Just getting scared because my flares are worse than when they started 17 months ago. It's like the burn has gone to a deeper ice. And I am following list one more? And we are about to go on vacation which has me a bit worried. I don't want to be bed ridden during vacation. Anyone have any tips on how to maintain during vacation since I won't be able to see the doctors for several months?
Body works helps it tremendously but then it doesn't hold. I have to do all that I can until I go see the doctors.
Can we eat shell fish? Lobster in particular? I live in Maine and the guy who lives across the street sells $5 lobsters every day after he gets home from fishing. I want to have one but wasn't sure where that falls in the do's and don'ts.
I have been in physical therapy for six weeks for my rt shoulder partial tear of the rotator cuff. Have been working with Dr. B and have tried acupuncture and zheng gu shui which is a linament. Had flares of itching and some bladder with the latter two treatments.
Can anyone recommend a good sunscreen that doesn't cause flaring or shampoo conditioner that's over the counter? Heading on vacation soon...want to get started...
manythanks to all,
Carey
p.s.my flare seems to be over temporarily. The thing I hate the most is never knowing when it's going to hit....enjoying the milder down time for now
