As I have one month more until my first appt  with Matia and cannot ask her, please indulge me if you can ...

How many of you noticed that you also  had very difficult digestion issues with this?   Have any of you taken digestive enzymes, or is there something else that works with this..? I take thes and  hydrochloric acid tablets to digest food ( which is something I feel she may take me off of when I see her, but otherwise I am unable to digest these things I feel !)

3 years ago I was on this sight all the time.  I have not been on here in about a year.  I found Matia and started the diet very strict in November.  That meant no christmas cookies, turkey dressing, or other holiday treats.  I survived and came out in Feb almost pain free.  I would slip on the diet and have some sugar and then get into pain again for a few months.  On and off it went.  Then about 1 year later I had alot of pain again and called Matia.  Of course this time I knew what to do and nipped it in the bud much faster.  I never let it get out of control.

Has anyone had pin pricking sensations during treatment?

Usually my die off symptoms only last a few days, but I've been having sharp pin prick sensations on and off for 3 weeks now, mainly in my lower back, hips and stomach. It's not 'tingling' but more of an uncomfortable pricking feeling that lasts for around 5-10 seconds then disappears.

Anyone else experienced this?

I'm wondering if anyone has had a UTI during treatment and if so, how long it took you to stabilise afterwards?

I was doing so so well and was having 1/10 discomfort on a BAD day.. I then had to stop herbs due to a virus and within a few weeks developed a UTI after not peeing after sex. It's been 2 months since then and my bladder still can't get back to that same level of healing I was at.. The other day I even had a day that was a bad as before starting treatment.. I'm feeling really discouraged and sooo tempted to take antibiotics :(
