For the past few days I have been having almost a quivering feeling low down, near my rectum? I don't think it is my bladder. I am also a little more gassy so don't know if it is gas, but it feels fluttery or like something is quivering or in spasm down there.
My poops (sorry for this term, but it seems to flow naturally as I have two young girls:) have been looking GOOD these days! I still am taking one magnesium cap and am afraid to wean off until I am a little further into treatment. I am having one or two good ones each day. I occasionally notice some mucus in the poops. I was reading about detox and it seems mucus is part of that. I think I read that the bacteria overgrowth produces extra and now it is coming out.
I just wanted to make a separate post to say I made my first appointment! Yay!!!
I actually also wanted to specifically thank whichever old patient of Matia's switched their time for me!
They were all booked up until the 16th, and then when her assistant heard the drop in my voice of "Oh....oh goodness", she made the extra effort to call a current patient and asked if they would mind switching their appointment time so that I could come in earlier to which they said yes :)
I am truly grateful for such understanding souls <3
Hello everyone !! Just wanted to say thank you all to everyone for being so supportive and helpful this past week . I feel far less alone and a little more hopeful and that is thanks to you all :)
This is the most inspirational story I have ever seen. It brought tears to my eyes and also a new sense of hope. He doesnt have IC but WOW, what courage and perserverence.
I have only been in treatment four weeks, but have been allowed to start on list 3 (without nuts and fruit) (i had already cut out sugar / yeast / added probiotics etc for over a year, so i had made a lot of progress already. But felt i needed Dr. B's help to get all the way there, as still had flares etc.)
My first appointment with Dr. B is less than 2 weeks away. I'm really excited and nervous about it. I was wondering if anyone can let me know what to expect and also what should I bring to my appointment. Does she need to see any medical reports? I'm flying in from Canada so I don't want to forget anything that would be of importance to her. Also, can anyone recommend some good restaurants in the area. This will be my first time in LA so I would need some recommendations.
Does anyone have any idea what causes nausea? Is it toxic liver? something else?... I tried to ignore it, but it just doesn't go away.
I vividly remember Tinkerbell's post about how nauseated she felt some time ago. It was one of her last posts here. Is she doing all right? I can't email her for some reason, but sure can share the experience.
I had two days of almost no symptoms. That is a first ever but then yesterday evening it got cranked back up again and then today I had the worst symptoms I have had in awhile with frequency and urgency that I couldn't ignore. (usually I can). It didn't feel like a uti really but it did feel really uncomfortable, like my bladder was sore and aching all day.
