I am deedling around on list 3. Can eat greek yogurt but not regular yogurt or goat, grapefruit and blackberry still not ok, not sure about milk baked in things yet. Tomatoes are finally ok! What mild spices are people eating? How did you do adding in quinoa and beans? How quickly did it go for you?
I was wondering if any of you lived in or near North Carolina? That's where I'm at and I thought I would check it out on the off-chance that there might be at least one other patient of Matia's that lives around here :)
Good grief I have had so much pain since this afternoon's salad. I did have 8 potato chips too but they have not been bothering me. The only thing different was red leaf lettuce instead of green butter lettuce. Ugh. I had so much releif yesterday and felt like myself for a change. Today, so much pain. :( I hope I can get more stable soon :(
Hi everyone- I hate to post a negative because I think I scare people but I need help. I have had such extreme vaginal itching for 4 days now. It is not a yeast infectiopn- it is one of my IC symptoms. I had it pretty bad before I came to see Dr B. I am so disturbed that it is back this late in the game. Overall- I have been a little more stable but not enough to hang my hat on- and now this just sets me back so much emotionally. I am waiting for her to get back to me. I have been in treatment for 17 months and just now feel like I was getting somewhere.
I recently celebrated my 1 year anniversary being a patient of Dr. B. I actually had planned on writing a "then vs. now" about my progress but life has just been incredibly too busy. So, hopefully now that I have some time, I thought start on where I've been and where I am now, 1 year later. I know that I've dropped off the forum. Its not by choice, I do check it periodically, work and home life has keep me so crazy busy.
How do I know if I am reacting to certain foods? Especially if you have to eat starch, carb, protien with each meal? Are some bigger offenders than others? I have been eating a lot of broccoli/cabbage/celery soup with my meals, but also squash, cauliflower and lettuce. I don't eat much garlic powder. I am just flaring all of the time. My pain stays between 5 and 7 and nothing I eat makes a difference. Unless I am reacing to everything and should just go on a water fast???? maybe it is more my new protocol? Does it really help to try to find flaring triggers?
I saw that in the past there have been some vent/hope threads? For those of you that want to participate, I was hoping to revisit. I guess it is similar to the "Little things positive" thread, but with the vent component which I so need as I am in my first week of treatment and feeling horrible and hopeless.
