I made a tastey dinner the other night I wanted to share:

I browned some grass fed organic ground beef in a pan briefly and then added some garlic powder and pink salt to taste
then I added some black bean and white beans-organic canned (rinsed them first)
I stirred until all of the beans were wartmed and mixed well with the beef then removed from the heat.

Wow, I made an amazing breakfast "pudding" this morning I thought I would share. I also have some other food ideas that I have made lately and will post them later. I dont cook with measurements, so sorry for the imprecision:

Blend raw cashews and yoghurt about 1 to 1 ratio well until completely smooth
then add in a touch of maple syrup and blend more until completely blended

You can put berries on top of this or have this alone-SO TASTEY!!!

Most have you have noticed, I am sure that I took pork off my lists. I have been very perplexed by it and finally feeling very unsure to advocate it, so I took it off. I have noticed a couple of my bigger pork eater have not done so well and took them off of it. But, here is a great article about the subject: http://www.westonaprice.org/cardiovascular-disease/how-does-pork-prepared-in-various-ways-affect-the-blood

It is no mystery even in the Western model of medicine that antibiotics are overly prescribed. This is substantiated by a growing number of drug resistant infections such as MRSA as one example. I am not saying there are not situations where one needs antibiotics, there are. But, antibiotics are tirelessly prescribed in situations where either the immune system could have taken over or a natural remedy could have been used in its place. This article is interesting in this sense, but, also note one side effect that happened to one persons bladder and kidney.

Just to let everyone know-the new shampoos and conditioners are available in unscented, lavender, and mango versions. I really love them personally. Hope whoever needs them does too. They are also certified organic.

As many of you know because I have posted on this many times, my dream is to have a home for people to be able to come and get treatment for free or for much much less at least. This home would also serve as a bit of a haven for those having a really hard time with the IC needing a place to regroup for a month and get themselves back together. It may also serve as a place where someone who has no emotional support in need can come where people understand what is going on with them.

This is a nice article about sugar, but only begins to describe how destructive it is. Sugar is rampant in our society, it it everywhere-so difficult to avoid. I get so frustrated as a mother because it is so hard to keep my children from it, and, in order to prevent eating disorders later in their lives, I do allow them to have some sugar in things (very limited) so that they don't start hanging out at their friend's houses hroding goodies behind my back! It is a fine line we have to walk as parents.
