This is a great article on vitamin D, which we use all of the time, where and when appropriate (which is always key). It is one of the supplements we use to help the Gut repair itself and the immune system correct itself. And, what an appropriate study which back this dynamic up from a scientific view point.

Someone asked me to post this recipe-I am not very exact with my cooking and baking but this is pretty darn close. This is a rich, moist, bread/non-sweet cake that is super yummy alone or with something else.
A fun snack that is nutritious and fun: Approximately
3 cups Almond Flour (or a flour of your choice --results will alter as you cange the flour though)
1/4 tsp baking powder 1/4 tsp baking soda
a couple of swigs of vanilla extract
1 stick butter
a bit of himalayan salt
