Sorry Everyone we seemed to have a weak connection there toward the latter half of the meeting. When I said good night it seemed that a lot of people dropped off. This was our third meeting and we are still having some technical difficulties to work out. But, hopefully next meeting will be better.
I think next meeting I am going to try and get a strong mic for my computer and hope that works better. Thanks everyone who joined!

I just wanted to say that for me as a long distance patient I got so much out of the meeting and felt a tremendous sense of comfort from hearing other voices. I felt like I learned alot and knowing more about IC helps me feel less anxious and more in control of my treatment. Thank you to everyone who participated - great discussion and questions! Mary

Just Mute It
A reminder to everyone calling in to mute their phone unless talking. I think the static/breaking up issue at the beginning was caused by a call-in person b/c when Matia hung up & dialed back in it was still there, but when the call-in people then did so it went away... sounded like the noise was from someone's microphone/phone getting rustled around, so please everyone, keep on mute. The rest of the time (though I couldn't always/completely hear all the local questions) Matia your voice came through well.

Local people
It wasn't as clear as last time for me and I couldn't hear what the local people were saying at all (except for Matia and Jeanne). It was a bit frustrating. I guess they were further away from the microphone. In contrast, the people on the phones/gizmo were very clear. It was great to communicate with people from this forum - thanks Matia for giving us this opportunity.

you can do it though your computer or your phone . If you do it with your cell phone you can download gizmo and not be charged still. If you use your home line I think you will be charged whatever longdistance charges accur.
For your computer .
The website says it works on windows, Mac, linux ,and nokia tablets.

when the page loads you will see for your computer with all the operating systems you want to click on the one you use so if your a mac then you click on mac download. It takes you step by step though the download
the confrence button thats the 4th tab from the left top of the gizmo. on the top where it has the phone symbol that is where you type the phone number. THen you wait it will ask you for the confrence number. YOu do not click anywhere to type it in you just enter it as though you were using a phone then you are in.
If you choose not to download the gizmo you just call the number and then when it askes for the confrence number you enter it and your in. Sometimes the server is down this has happened once and I ended up using my phone. Now I have free longdistance so I just call in.
