I posted the other day about animals and humans and how cats are having IC more and more. A couple months ago, I rescued a baby kitty that was lost and made him a partof our family of many animals. He has fit right in. But, the poor thing has had troublewith his urination. He peed yesterday morning and it was pure blood coming out. I wasshocked. Otherwise he seemed completely fine. Although he was a rescue, someone hadneutered this little guy way before his time--too young--a vet told me, which stuck in

A patient requested that I post on how to tell if you are reacting to a food or product,so here it goes: once you have used a product, like a shampoo or eaten a food, typically, theresponse time is within a half an hour or up to an hour. YOur symptoms will go up considerably from where they were prior. some patients take a little longer, and fewpatients may not react for a couple days. This is highly unusual though and is only the

I just rec'd an email from a patient who decided to do a foot cleanse. Now she is in amass of pain and her urine is positive for white blood cells, indicating the onset of an infection. This reminds me of how many times this and things like it have occurredover the years of my practice. Things that create strong cleanses are dangerous andshould not be taken lightly. The act of cleaning out the body is a delicate matter andshould be undergone only through the guidance of a licensed healthcare, HEALTHCARE

This week it seems that questions about pets have been a topic of great interest. I dontknow if all of you know, but cats experience IC, just like humans. Interesting isnt it? IN fact,it is becoming a huge problem in veterinary medicine. I cannot treat animals bc I am not a vet,but I get so many questions about my patient's pets. I had a cat myself with IC that I treated with success. This article speaks about the sensitivity of cats to a particular kindof fire retardant in the household. It is interesting to see how it is effecting cats, but also

OK, big issue! Today a patient came in who has eczema all over her hands and whos child is getting sick continuously. So I asked what is going on? Is there mold in your house? As we sat and discussed the details of her case she took this bottle out of her bag andshowed it to me. It was the natural equivalent of the standard antimicrobial hand lotionsand wipes that are available today. I was stunned bc I realized that this was a breakdownin communication from my part. Now I realized why she and her son had not been doing

Angela sent me this video this morning and asked if I would post it to remind each of usabout the struggle that we endure in our lives and how important it is to find our strength even when we feel we have none. When I personally feel sad and defeated I remind myself of everything that I do have in my life and then my struggles, no matter how significantflicker and fade. I realize that whatever my worries, I can struggle through them and turn them into something positive. The man in this video is an unspeakable example of bravery

I receive many questions about cancer every day from various people around the world. I am not a cancer expert, nor am I any authority on cancer at all. However, all of thestudying that I have done on cancer years ago led me to the conclusion and thought that cancer certainly must have a fungal component to it. REcently I have read moreand more that many researchers are themselves coming to this conclusion. IC alsohas a fungal component, however, how is develops in the body is different than cancer.
